Got a quest last night. Vision of Raven. Might have been from Olaf.
Joined a party today to do the Raven quest. We go outside. Next thing I know we're doing Not Enough Gates. Now we're back to town. Everyone says bye. Now Olaf won't talk to me. Maybe Olaf didn't give me the Raven quest.
More time wasted in eye. Thanks guild wars. You stuck it to me again.

So you got a quest called Vision of the Raven Spirit.. you have to talk to Olaf after that.. The quest he he gives you after is called 'A Gate too Far' which is the quest you probably did..

Maybe you did get the quest reward but didn't notice? Check your quest log to see if you still have that quest or not.

You got a gate too far, follow the ravens quest it's something diffferent.

T Rand, he doesn't talk to you probably because he already has, the next step in that quest is to talk to him out in the zone near the actual dungeon, there is a little destroyer fight event first then the actual dungeon mission. You''re not "stuck" you just didn't know where the next step is.

When you do that quest with other people they can talk to the guy and it pulls up a "do the quest, WARNING not everyone is at this point in the story yet" dialog but they can just click through that. So odds are someone got click happy before you finish finished some part of it so you didn't get credit. First rule of missions, people suck, use hero/hench.

This doesn't make sense.
Another quest that I won't be doing.

OK, so the people you joined with sucked you into "A Gate Too Far" quest when you wanted to do "Vision of Raven"?

That's not Anets fault. It's the PUG you joined. I would try with Heroes and Henchies if you can't find a decent PUG...

Sounds like someone is here just to complain, not to solve their problem. It is almost always a good idea to H/H the story quests your first time through. Sounds like you and the group you joined where not on the same page (eg. you wanted to do one quest, they did another). Instead of complaining and hating ANet, follow the suggestions of others on this thread and learn your lesson for next time.
